At myphysio we offer basic nutritional and healthy lifestyle advice, this has recently been termed “Wellness” advice.
The term derives from the belief that modern medicine focuses on the ‘illness’ that does little as a preventative medicine.
Wellness advice may consist of:
advice (Steph, Emily and Dani have all done further certification in this area including a Certificate IV in Nutrition)
- Weight loss advice and Food diaries
- Improving quality and length of sleep strategies
- Development of a tailored Gym or Clinical Pilates program
- Lap swimming program or Hydrotherapy program
You do not need to be injured to use this service either. Your physiotherapist is highly skilled in tailoring these programs to your needs. Make an appointment today to discuss this with them.
On-referral to appropriate Dieticians and Counselling services are also available when required.
