RedCord training in swimmers

Katie Sandford is conducting a study into the effects of a 6 week training program using RedCord in swimmers.

The study will compare the effects of a group of swimmers undergoing normal training and gym programming to a group doing normal training and one redcord class per week. Measures will be taken on swim speed, maximum push ups, chin ups and shoulder internal rotation strength.

So far the results are extremely encouraging and Sam will present these as a piolot study at the upcoming Sports Medicine Australia and Australian physiotherapy Association Conferences in October 2015, before moving onto the next phase of his PhD.
