I was 9 years old when I decided to join Little Athletics. By the age of 13, I joined Preston Athletics Club with Jeff Hawkins as my coach and began training in sprints. Not long after, hurdles were bought into the mix. Long Jump and triple jump were always events that I competed in but never really focused on. As time went by, I realised that the events I actually enjoyed the most and had a greater passion for were horizontal jumps. Still with Jeff Hawkins as my sprints coach, I joined John Boas to develop as a horizontal jumps athlete with the vision to hopefully represent Australia one day.
In 2018, I won my first ever national title in Triple Jump. In 2022, I represented Australia at the Oceania Championships and took home the bronze medal.
